Dr. Jong

Dr. Ruby Jong is a Los Angeles/Koreatown native. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her veterinary career began as a veterinary assistant at the San Francisco SPCA. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2019. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship at VCA Animal Specialty Group. Dr. Jong has been with the Mohawk Alley family since completing her internship.

Dr. Jong has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry as well as shelter and feline medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Jong enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, binge-watching tv shows & anime and spoiling her lemon-of-a-cat, Goomba.
