Mohawk Alley Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to lead our dedicated team of 6 DVMs in providing high-quality care for our small animal patients. As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the medical quality and operations of our practice while collaborating with a team of wonderful, supportive doctors who believe in a team-oriented, Fear Free Certified environment.

We mentor new grads with personalized mentorship plans, ensuring each veterinarian has the opportunity to excel in areas such as surgery, dentistry, radiology interpretation, and clinical consultation.
With a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, our practice provides a full range of general practice services for dogs and cats, including radiology, ultrasound, and surgery. We are equipped with advanced technology, including mobile ultrasound, digital X-ray machines for both full-body and dental radiographs, IDEXX in-house diagnostic machines, and an Imagyst, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. As Medical Director, you will not only oversee medical standards but also shape the development of our practice and staff, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional care to our patients and clients. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and medical direction to the team, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met. You will play an active role in developing, mentoring, and supporting veterinarians through structured mentorship programs. In addition to overseeing diagnostic, surgical, and dental services, you will ensure that the hospital maintains a Fear Free environment while fostering a culture of safety and wellness for both patients and staff. Your role will also include collaborating with the management team to achieve both clinical and operational goals, aligning with the long-term vision of the practice.
Compensation Package Includes:
Base annual salary: $160,000 - $180,000
No deficit carry-over production plan
